This new online service helps seniors, and caregivers access hundreds of public benefits programs. BenefitsCheckUp.org is the first of its kind, web-based service designed to help seniors, their families, and caregivers find the right benefits programs to meet their needs. The site contains a fast, free and confidential screening tool to determine eligibility for nearly 1,000 unique state and federal programs and provide detailed instructions on how to apply for them.

Persons can also access this information by calling 1 (800) 677-1116 and speaking with a friendly, trained information specialist. The Eldercare Locator is a free public service of the U.S. Administration on Aging administered by the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging.
